Good motorcycle cover and cheap alarm?!

For every motorcycle owner that doesn't have the privilege of a garage or indoor storage, this is a good strong cover that is cheap and does the trick but not only that iv found its quite noisy when it comes to removing it, which is quite handy as it will most probably wake your dog or yourself if anyone try's stealing your bike over night! definitely worth buying at this price and is one of the noisiest iv seen.

making an xr/xl125 exhaust fit an xlr125 01 with just a bracket.

The answer to the Honda xlr125 exhaust(silencer) being so hard to find is that they rust away so quickly and everyone wants one. What I did was to simply use one from an xr/xl125 and it only needs a (5cm)straight bracket mechanism with nut and bolts holding it together at each end to fit. If you can see in the picture I've hung the end can around 3-4cm lower to miss the indicator light and the joint at the other end that connects to the down pipe wanted a bit of exhaust tape to make it fit snug. My Honda xlr125r o1 model even sounds better with the Honda xr125 exhaust as well as looking better so keep your eyes open for an xr exhaust as well because you will probably be needing one sooner than you think.
Also if anyone has pictures of an xlr125 with a neater back light setup or any tidy modifications please email to me at and il put them on the blog. Thanks, nick.

Aluminium performance exhaust for honda xlr125's!

I have been sent a link to a site called which sells performance parts for motorcycles. The link below is the address to the aluminium exhaust for the xlr125 and to order it you take down the reference number for the colour you want and order by phone. As of yet I have no details on how long it takes to arrive in the UK or how much the part is, but if anyone has info on this part please email to the blog address, which is What I can tell you is that its aluminium, which means it wont rust and if the exhausts any good i.e affordable and can be shipped to the UK and road legal it should help with the issue of rusting. Any more info would be helpful. thank Jason Newman (legacy2k) from trial bike forums for sending me the link.
